My team’s baseball coach asked us if we knew anybody that could make a website for the team. He wanted to build a site to show off the teams statistics. Our coach Larry thought that our site should have full animation so that it could impress site visitors. I new how to make sites, but really didn’t want to volunteer to do extra work. Unfortunately my friend Jack decided to blurt out, “Chris knows how to build websites”. This of course led to me having to make the team’s web site.

I knew cheap coach Larry wouldn’t want to pay for a web site or seo services, so I decided to start looking for free sites that I could use. I’d use local Minneapolis seo services to keep seo costs down. Using Blogger I created a site for the team. Embarrassment hit me as soon as I showed the new website to the coach. Although the coach said he thought it was good, I knew he was lying. I immediately told him that this was just an outline and that the real site would be coming soon.

I went back to the drawing board to think about what kind of platform I could use to make a great site. After searching around the Internet I decided that the best way for me to make a great web site would be for me to use flash. I’d be able to add visually appealing graphics with full animation. Also, I’d be able to put in short video clips of my teammates at bat. I figured the guys would really love to see some highlight clips of the team on the Internet.

A thorough search of the Internet brought me to a place where I could get a free flash website. I signed up at the site and looked through what they had to offer. It was exactly what I was looking for. Although I ended up devoting an additional two weeks to the site I am very happy with the new look. I showed the coach and when he said it was great, this time I knew he truly meant it. After this we decided to use surgeseo.com to get the site listed. Coach Larry contacted a local seo company to get us search engine rankings.

After seeing the site, my buddy’s dad asked me to create a website for him. Even though he has offered me money I’ll probably do it for free.
