Can You Use a Blog Instead of a Web Site?

When all is said and done, and when all factors are considered, depending on the nature of your business, there are some limited instances in which a blog can supplant an Internet business website all together. For example, if your business is established to market one particular book or ebook, you likely can fully meet all of your marketing and related needs exclusively through a blog as opposed to a more wide ranging Internet business website. Indeed, many authors have created quite an amazing buzz through the use of blogging in the promotion of their work.

On the other hand, if you are involved in more wide ranging retailing or the provision of different types of services, you likely will be best served by having both a blog and an independent business website to promote and market your efforts. The fact is that when you have a more wide ranging business, you likely will not be able to as effectively market what you are selling or providing simply through your blogging efforts.

In the final analysis, you need to understand that one size does not fit all when it comes to an Internet based business enterprise. You need to carefully determine how the interests of your own business will be best served when it comes to blogging and an Internet business website.

In the final analysis, however, history demonstrates that most Internet businesses are best and more fully served through the operation of both a blog and an companion Internet business website venue.
