If the term Article Spinning is new to you it’s a term that describes a semi automated method of producing multiple articles from one original article. Advocates of Article Spinning claim that it helps authors who use article syndication as a way to build links. Opponents claim that article spinning is spammy or even unethical.

I would like to start off by addressing these two claims. Firstly, advocates and developers of article spinning software often claim that each and every article uploaded to article syndication sites needs to be unique to get past Google’s duplicate content penalty and article spinners provide the perfect tool to accomplish this. However Google have openly declared that there is no duplicate content penalty. Secondly, opponents claim that article spinning software is the tool of choice of black hat SEO’s and only produces mechanical unreadable spam. Well the truth is ´virtually any ethical SEO technique can be overused to the extent that it becomes spam.

So we seem to be at a stalemate and so it goes on for every claim the pro article spinners make the anti article spinners trash it, and vice versa. So who do you believe, is it a great way to build backlinks or is it indeed spam. Well the only way to find out is to let Google decide and that is exactly what two authors who use article syndication have set out to do.

In the blue corner we have the pro article spinner and in the red the anti. What they are attempting to do is outrank each other for the term ‘Article Spinning’. The pro spinner will use his spinning skills to create articles and syndicate them; the anti will syndicate un-spun articles.
