5 Proven Strategies to Top in Blog Marketing

Blog marketing is serious stuff. Do you know some people make a living just by blog marketing. They market their blog so that they can get readers, and make a profit from their blogs. It is also a great platform to sell things by using affiliate links and programs. However, most people will just create a blog, post a few entries, and subsequently never return to update it again. In the end, you will not get anywhere; expecting and hoping that people will find your blog and read it. Remember, you are not going to gain any links, nor a higher search engine ranking by just having a blog.

In this article, I hope to share some great tips to get your blog to the top position or at least to make your blog a successful one.

Tip #1 Allow RSS feeds

When you allow RSS feeds, your blog is going to end up all over the internet with a link back to it. And this is a great way to get links to your blog. Remember, no one will know about your blog unless you give them the link and show it to them. So allow other websites and blogs to publish your same exact blog. In doing so, they are giving you a link back to your blog, and also telling their readers about your blog indirectly. Therefore, you must not miss using RSS feeds.

Tip #2 Exchange links with authority blogs and websites

By exchanging links with authority blogs and websites, you are creating higher exposure about your blog. As authority sites have higher page rank, and by exchanging links with them (preferably similar niche sites), this would push up your blog ranking. However, do check and get permission if needed with other webmasters, when carrying out this link exchange method.

Tip #3 Tracking Feature

Tracking is another important process of blog marketing. Definitely, you want to be able to track your visitors to know where they are coming from, how they find your blog, and from where they did their searching, etc. Most importantly, you want to know the keywords that they have used to search on your blog. This will serve useful for search engine optimization later.

Tip #4 Good Content

To make good money, make sure your blog provides useful, good and informational original content. Do not commit plagiarism. This will get you into rights problem which is unwanted and this is not what you want in your blog marketing campaign. Remember, original creative content is one of the proven ways to top in blog marketing.

Tip #5 Frequent Update

You must update your blog regularly. If you ever promised your readers that you will update your blog weekly or daily, then you must fulfill it. Otherwise, no one will ever visit your site again knowing the fact that you are simply not bothered in keeping your words. Put yourself in the shoes of the reader. If you ever visit your favourite blog that has regular updates, no doubt you will revisit the same site again and again, looking for refresh information. Many people fail in this aspect where updating is concern.

So, make use of these strategies, apply them, and start your successful blog marketing for money now. They may be many other effective methods which will work too. Nonetheless, you will have to try out and judge it for yourself.
